About
Gilly Beal
Gilly Beal's work is an exploration of the brushstroke. Whether ink on paper, oil on canvas or photography, she is intrigued by how a simple gestural stroke can create a series of captivating lines. The subtlety of the mark making creates visually stunning pieces that are full of energy, despite their deceptive simplicity.
Gilly has an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths.
